for the two people that actually care and followed any of my idol advice, i sold all my chris this morning. bought at 9 around three months ago. sold for 40 this morning. should be 100 but im risk adverse.

its a shame. he's the best contestant the show has ever seen. he might even make it through tonight and i hope he wins.

for those who keep score, i netted a little over 4k with a few taylors left. not many. lost on paris and made minimal money on kellie before selling.

i had a pinny bet for 100 on chris winning at +1100 when the final twenty four was set.

also have 500 on a male winnning idol at -135 placed a month or so ago.

so, looks like a possibe 5k. for all the naysayers, idol is the easiest sport or whatever to make money.

those with chris futures or shares, get out now. doesn't look good for the guy. i'm happy, made money, and wish him the best. he will outsell anyone whos ever been on that show win or lose except maybe clarkson. go chris, but its about dough and have a bad vibe going into tonight. taylors records if he does win will sell zero. he'll be awful. people like to watch him dance and you can't do that on cd. i really hope he doesn't win, but apparently he's got the fan base.

i'm getting out now, pulling for chris, but don't want to risk getting burned.

Although it's the best thing for Chris. He will make far more $$ signing under another label. I have read somewhere that those idols who do well (Kelly Clarkson etc) really get scalped by simon's co.

and BDB, i may be a bit biased being that i know Taylor pretty well, but i think his voice is the best of the 4 with Katherine a very close second...i think those will be your final two...if the competition is based on stage performance, chris gets it, if it's based on the ability to sell records, Taylor gets it IMO

Chris is like any other rocker 1 hit wonder who sounds great sells a million albums and then he fades away never to be heard from again. I still have no freakin clue how elliot is still around

wsex is the best place to bet idol if you like a market. i'm sure tradesport is similar.

as for taylor, i don't like him, maybe its cause i'm not from the south and that's not my kind of thing. not a dis in anywya, but i respect him and don't hate him or anything. i just think chris has the ultimate recording voice, and maybe i'm biased cause thats the type of music i listen to as well.

has nothing to do with gameshows. it sounds like you like to bet alot of golf. there is no greater book than wsex for golf with their interactive market for every tournament. there are better for matchups, and wins and such, but their interactive golf betting is like no one else. you really should check it out, but i thought you already did it for golf. put in 100 or whatever and try it. can't lose much, and tons of scalping and hedging opportunities.

its exactly like a stock market. at least go there and read up on it. i think you would like it.

Chris the 'best' contestant that's ever been on the show? He's good, but pretty much a one trick pony. He's gotten the benefit of the doubt the entire season from the judges, stage props, lighting, etc....he's just not the best singer in the group. That would be Elliott.

I have watched once. That's pretty much all anyone should ever be forced to watch Taylor. The guy is beyond annoying, with the same exact "dance" for every song. I guess people keep watching, but the show clearly is not aout picking who is the best.
