idiot. In the 7th inning up 1-0 and a runner on third with 1 out he lets his starting pitcher Arroyo hit (and they don't score of course because the idiot let the pitcher hit). Then, after Arroyo gets out of the 8th and still leads 1-0, this genius manager decides to take Arroyo out for his "closer" who has a nearly 4 ERA. Hello idiot, why not just leave him in and let him finish the GD game himself. You might as well since you thought you could win the game 1-0. He should be fired tomorrow.

117 pitches and worked out of a tough jam in the 8th inning. no reason not to turn it over to your closer. and nowadays, an era near 4 is (sadly) better than most. i am surprised he pitched to johnson in the 8th inning actually.
but why let him hit when you can get an insurance run in the 7th?? He only pitched one more inning. How many games can you win in major league baseball 1-0 these days? VERY FEW. I guess the bufoon was playing to keep from losing instead of trying to win.
The Reds HAVE to be the most undisciplined team in baseball. Now they are down 4-1 in the bottom of the 11th and the leadoff man gets a single and the next man comes up and gets a hit and advances the runner to third and gets thrown out at second. How in the world can you get thrown out at second with NOBODY OUT and you are down 3 runs. This is like the keystone cops.
I neeed to try this.......Joe Torre and Terry Francona, you guys are idiots. How can your teams only combine for 7 runs against pitchers like Chacon and Wakefield.
