For those that believe or are interested in the sharpness of Pinny.

1-0 so far per Wednesday's thread.

Again today, they are a point or so higher on the NJ/MIA total. They are at under 189 - 107 and have been pretty much that way all day, while others hover at 188.

They have also been offering Phoenix at plus a half a point or so higher, at one time it was a full point.

So, we will see tonite.

or maybe they are using reverse psychology and really want you to bet on the Over in Miami & the Clippers :scared

I watch pinny's % of bets vs juice all day long and the spread actually opened at Clippers -3.5 and then it went to -4 before they took any bets, then back to -3.5.... then they started taking bets at -3.5 (-110) and they were getting 65% on the clippers so they lowered the juice to (-105)

the betting has consistently been about 53-54% on the Clipps at pinny (except when they first took bets), but whenever they are getting about 51% they lower the juice on the Clippers... if they wanted Suns action (as your theory goes), wouldn't they lower the juice on the Suns?

i kept track of pinny's lines vs juice for a long time and concluded one thing: there is no conclusion - they are trying to take your money too

agree with some of what you said. with the exception of baseball, when they move juice it doesn't mean all that much and sometimes is a psychological mind fck. they are good at that, but beware when they actually move the number in a direction. then it usually means something.

Hippo.....you have obviously researched this a lot more than I have today. I don't know, I am not trying to psycho ananyze anything, I just noted, in my 5 or 6 times online today, that their lines were higher in one direction than at the other houses. Even taking into account the reduced vig.
I am pretty sure I saw PNX at one time at the equivalent of +4.5 vs. most others 3.5 and 4. Cripes, they change lines/vig so often, they can confuse Confucious. Reverse psychology? I dunno, perhaps.

Could'nt a book just post any figures............unless you actually see each and every bet this seems impossible to know for sure. Lets face it sportsbooks are not going to give out a lot of information that will hurt them............I would think it would be bad business........

I am not saying Pinnicle or any sportbook lies.......Personally I just would'nt cap with stats given to me by a book.......if it helps you go ahead and go for it.........

Tracking line moves and such probably works for some cappers....for me I have found tracking such things tend to produces some winners along with some losers.........to me it pretty much evens out over time..........Just my opinion
