This is a 4 game series, in case you were basing your play on not being swept.

FWIW, I like the Sox too, Twins are bad against lefties, maybe the under??

Gl tonight!

what would be 'embarrassing' about getting swept on the road by a division rival? while minnesota isn't on chicago's level this year, it's not like the twins are a triple-A team.

having said that, they play tomorrow afternoon so the sweep theory tonight can get tossed out the window.

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- With Jose Contreras on the disabled list
and Jon Garland and Javier Vazquez each getting tagged for seven
runs in the first two losses here, the Chicago White Sox will
need a major boost from Mark Buehrle on Sunday when they
continue a four-game series with the Minnesota Twins.

Despite allowing just two runs and seven hits against Kansas
City last Sunday, Buehrle (3-2, 3.66 ERA) is 0-2 over his last
three outings. But the 26-year-old Buehrle was brilliant in his
only start against the Twins this year, surrendering just one
run on four hits in eight innings in a 7-1 triumph on April 21.

Minnesota will counter with Carlos Silva (2-5, 8.23), who
snapped his four-game slide on Tuesday, allowing four earned
runs and 11 hits in six frames against Texas. The 27-year-old
righthander has a 5.33 ERA with 11 home runs in eight career
starts against Chicago.
:mj15:
Luis Castillo scored three runs as the Twins won their fourth
straight game with an 8-4 triumph on Saturday.

With a victory, Minnesota will extend its winning streak to five
straight games.

Tuff numbers to bet into if ya like Twins chances..".but thats why they play the game"

I like the Twins +154 here. One would think with Silva on the mound vs Buehrle that its a mismatch. Everything looks good on paper to bet the Sox, but I just get this gut feeling the Twins win. Buehrle is due for a bad outing, Silva is due for a good one and Minny is hot winning 4 in a row and looking good of offense with an excellent bullpen. Plus, way to much juice to lay and very rarely will you find me betting favs of 130 or more. Virtually everyone is on the White Sox it looks like. Never a good thing. Twins for a unit to win plus money.

All Buerle has been doing is putting together bad outings though, he is horrible his last 3, I think he is a better pitcher than he has ben performing.
