Was at the ymca

On Nautilus doing lite fly reps, felt pain in left shoulder suddenly could not move left arm without severe pain.
Lost range of motion (could not stretch left arm or reach behind my back without major sharp pain).

Caused by aging (I am in 40's) or extreme overuse. Something to do with the tendons and muscles under your shoulder cap bone.

It will NOT show up with an MRI...I went to 4 doctors and therapy before a shoulder specialist did an x-ray. (X-rays can see thru bone, MRI can not)

Options are surgery, (manual manipulation with a nerve block, in some cases a broken arm can result)
In extreme cases they have to cut into shoulder and operate, or in my case, months and I mean months, of Physical therapy to "unfreeze it".

It took 2 months of professional therapy, and 4 months lite therapy work at home and ymca to fully get over it. I did not want the surgery route.
