OVER 9 METS VS CARDS -120.

There is an important stat on baseball as you all know that it is called WHIP.

Check out the whip on this two pitchers on their last three games:

Trachsel: 2.27
Mulder: 1.59

Imagine having 2.27 men on base per inning and 1.59 per inning with guys like Pujols, Rolen, Edmonds, Delgado, Wright, Beltran, Floyd, etc...

They both are having control trouble and with this two offensive teams that means a lot of runs.

I am expecting a great game from pujols that translate to 4 rbi just from him.

good luck to all, and remember let`s break the books today.

Jimmyboy, only thing that scares me here is Mets worst team in majors in plating runs with 2 outs. They rarely get a clutch hit, last night withstanding. Good luck and I'll be rooting for your over.

thanks njsammy, I am expecting a revenge from the cards tonight, so the team that I look forward to score the runs for the over to come in is St louis. I think both teams can score 4 runs a piece easily

whip info

whip info

true

but I would lean to an under

barring injuring pitchers tend to move back to their average whip set for the year

so if both pitchers have had a high whip in the past 3 games and they are not hurt

then they will trend back to their normal whips

Both pitchers have an era over 4 and they have had six starts, bot pitchers have to pitch great in order to be an under game, I am worry about Mulder abilities but not for Traschel, I think the cards pound him

Hits/Wlks per game or 9 innings is very high 34 between them--last year vs Mets Mulders ERA was over 10--Traschels vs Cards over 7????

don't agree here

don't agree here

only one pitcher has to pitch well for it to be an under

7-1

6-2

5-1

etc. are all unders

also, vegas is not giving away easy money,

they know the pitchers have been sub par lately that is why the line is at 9 not 8.5

anyway good luck

Rodriguez looks like a fool at the plate, how can you be intimidated by a guy who while standing in the batters box rest the bat on his shoulder and rocks back and forth like he is in third grade and needs to go pee. I don't know his stats but I can't beleive this guy hits in front of Albert.
