Do they have a chance tonight?????

Spurs are 0-5 SU when they are down 3-1 in a playoff series since 1997 :scared

Can they prepare mentally for this game or will the mav's overwhelming confidence squash them tonight????

I actually am shocked about this whole thing, but I think the Spurs are done tonight.

I honestly thought that the Spurs would win this thing in 6 when the series started.

Boy was I wrong.

The Spurs just don't seem as hungry as they have in years past.

If the Mavs don't end it tonight, then this thing is definitely over in 6.

If I play anything today, it will be a small play on the Mavs just for fun.

Hippo, This game IMO will be another nail-bitter that either team can win. I like Spur ML. The only difference I see in tonights game is: neither one of the 3 scores for SA will foul out tonight, which in turn will gives SA a better chance to win the game. Only way I see dallas winning this game is if one of the 3 doesn't have a good game. All three played GREAT last game but
they didn't win, because of a turnover.
Things that might change tonight, Ginobli will have more than just 26 min. I don't know why Pop hasn't had him on the floor the whole game.
Ginobli must really be hurting. This is the only adjustment that Pop hasn't tried, other than going big. SA will not make stupid mistakes to beat
themselves tonight.
Spurs know that if they win tonight's game, they can come to Dallas and win over here. I don't think Spurs have given up on the season just yet.
Playing SA ML big today, with SA-5 small. The thing that scares me about SA-5 is their FT shooting.

I think the spurs got the bad end of the whistle in game 3 no question about it and they showed that they can score at will on this Dallas team, you cant count them out just yet- though dallas has been the better team so far, pop wont let this team go down without a fight, look for ginobli to have a big game and for dallas to be a little lax, Spurs are veteran savy team and they will pull out a W tonight

Perhaps more than any other team, the way the Spurs play depends on the amount of rest they get between games. Game three -- with the Spurs getting 3 days' rest and a generous 4 points -- was a perfect situation for them. They managed to get the money but not the win.

Regular season, Spurs were 6-10 SU on no rest, 41-9 SU with one day's rest, and 16-0 SU with 2+ days' rest. Against the Mavs this year, Spurs are 0-1 ATS with no rest, 0-5 ATS with one day's rest, and 2-0 ATS with 2+ days' rest. The only time when the Spurs beat the Mavs by more than 2 points was when they had two days' rest AND Harris was out with an injury.

Under Avery Johnson, the Mavs have had a killer instinct in the playoffs. When they've had a chance to close out an opponent, they've done it emphatically: a 40-point home win over Houston in game 7 last year (the largest margin ever in a game 7) and a 26-point road win over Memphis in game 4 this year.

Mavs +5.

M.W, I don't really think rest came into play the last two games.
2 game ago, SA was playing for the win and they turn the ball over, last game SA has a 1pt lead with second left and they turn the ball. How does futigue play into this game. SA has played well, but haven't been able to close the deal.
