really feel like this is a tricky 2nd half. normally this is the kind of spot where i'd say the line says pistons or nothing. but you have to also factor in the likelihood that many will blindly bet the pistons at any line in the 2nd half with the logic that "they can't possibly lose to the cavs at home". so im not sure 9 or 9.5 is a sharp line per se, but rather its the books knowing theyre gonna get drilled with pistons money no matter the line so they might as well make people pay for the favorite. i think the under is the best play.

Pinny has left the line at 9 and juiced the Pistons from -101 to the -134 above

Det remind me of Uconn in the final four. Everyone thinks they should get there vs the line, but will they.
Clev +9 for me small

playing under 91 (+123). cavs won game 3 and game 4 with defense in the 2nd half. if the game stays close, this could be an ugly, low scoring 2nd half.

gman...gut feeling Pistons pull this out or the King is crowned?

gut feeling would be that the 2h line is about where it needs to be. cavs are playing with nothing to lose, and the pistons look tight .... but having watched the cavaliers for 82+ games this year, they are susceptible to the 11-2 spurt and thats what ive been waiting for from detroit. have the cavs taken detroit's best shot? thats what we have to decide in the 2h. pistons havent played well, but cavs are partly responsible for that. so pistons cant just flip the switch and roll. but i do think det makes a run and prob finds a way to win a game decided in the final 2:00. i will say this though -- the winner of tonight's game will win game 6 on friday. if cavs win tonight, they won't lose friday. if they fade in the 2h here, im not sure they'll have enough to send it back to detroit for a game 7.

The Cavs have won each of the previous four fourth quarters in this series. They have shown they will not be intimidated by the Pistons late in games. Sure the Pistons are upset with the way they are losing, but it is not as if they were up 2-0 and the Cavs sprung this kinda half on them. They came into this game tied and seem to playing as if the Cavs should be scared and roll over for the Pistons. Do you think the Cavs are going to let up any?? They are shooting just 40% and lead the game by 5 points. It's not as if they are shooting lights out. They have to feel as if they have a real shot at winning this game. The Cavs proved in game 3 they could make the stops late in the game when they needed them.
