*I nearly spilled my coffee when I saw Kerry Wood's name this morning. Don't expect much! I'm sure he'll be on a pitch count, and he'll probably be working on certain mechanics throughout the game. Having said that, I won't be betting on the Nationals either. Washington might be the worst team in baseball right now. This game has PASS written all over it!

*Hamels (Phillies) is the real deal! I saw him pitch in his major league debut. Great stuff, and he is extremely poised on the mound. He will be very effective until teams have seen him a couple of times.

*Still don't believe in Detroit? How about Verlander outdueling Santana last night 2-0!

*Cincy is my biggest fade right now. The public continues to bet the Reds day after day, hoping they will recapture their early season magic. It's not going to happen anytime soon fellas!

*It's Lima Time! The Mets are a very good team this year, but they will lose every fifth day as long as Jose is in the rotation. There was a reason why he wasn't pitching in the big leagues before Bannister got hurt.

sorry I couldn't post sooner. I posted 2 anti-public totals plays in this thread the past 2 days, and hit them both, so I don't want to mess with a good thing. Public is all over the Reds, yet the line is dropping. Santos is no prize, but Williams is a dog with fleas. Once again I go against the public, as i grab the home dog Pirates at even money.

In each of Lima's starts I have gone with the other team and the Over. This is trend that did well obviously last year and I'm continuing it this year. 4-0 on those plays this season and I'm on the same again today.

It is possible the Mets can pull one out, but they are going to have to score quite a bit. I put 2 units on the Over today and 1 unit on the Red Birds.

Thanks for the writeup Wise and good luck on all your plays.

I should've stuck with the totals. Pirates up 6-0 in the 1st inning, and lose 9-8. Uggggh.

typical ****ing loss for me with Pitt

the 2 out big hit against Marte (good job walking everyone)

then Pitt gets the guy on third with 1 out and can't get the sac fly or groundout to tie. I've had at least 10 losses like this already.
