i think vasquez gets knocked around a bit. i also think the over is worth consideration. vasquez took some lumps in his last road start at minny, and i'd be surprised if he was sharp tonite. there seems to be some complacency that creeps into the minds of these sox at times, due in part to the slow starts by the twins and indians. sox have struggled with lefties, but they seem to fare a little better on the road than at home. my play will be on the over, but can't disagree with the rays @+150.

thank you wcb4....I like the Over right now, but having trouble taking a side...maybe that's a good thing...I'd hate to lay the chalk and get bent over like PHI did to me today...will probably stick to the Over and TOR and will hit PHX hard tonight...

vazquez definitley hitting a wall after 75 pitches so far this season in tendancy:

G GS W L SV CG SHO IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP BAA
Pitch 1-15 7 0 0 0 0 0 0 7.1 4 3 3 0 0 4 3.68 0.55 .167
Pitch 16-30 7 0 0 0 0 0 0 6.1 3 2 2 1 4 8 2.84 1.11 .143
Pitch 31-45 7 0 0 0 0 0 0 8.0 2 2 2 0 0 8 2.25 0.25 .077
Pitch 46-60 7 0 0 0 0 0 0 6.1 4 0 0 0 3 3 0.00 1.11 .190
Pitch 61-75 7 0 0 0 0 0 0 6.1 9 0 0 0 0 6 0.00 1.42 .321
Pitch 76-90 7 0 0 0 0 0 0 6.1 10 8 8 1 0 1 11.37 1.58 .357
Pitch 91-105 6 0 0 0 0 0 0 5.1 5 6 5 0 1 5 8.44 1.13 .263
Pitch 106-20 3 0 0 0 0 0 0 0.1 3 0 0 0 0 0 0.00 9.00 .750

and off 29 batters faced on 4 days rest where he threw 70% strikes and they were hitting them i definitley be cautious with him.

hendickson tends to struggle early but if he gets thru first 5 innings he hangs in there well.

his last outing vs the jays could have been even worse in the 2nd without the bad baserunning.

great info ie. seems to me that vaquez has always run hot/cold throughout the course of a season. ozzie really would like to get 7+ out of him tonite to rest the pen, but i don't think he gets it.
