i heard mccain say on chris wallace`s show(paraphrasing)..."
""they paid the money into the system...they should get it back.....maybe we can figure a way to get the benefits sent across the border....maybe some will go home"....
not his exact words....but,that`s the gist of his statement...
send the u.s. social security benefits that they earned while using fake/illegal social security numbers to mexico?.....lets just start mailing checks to fox...they`ll stay home,then...
this is a war hero?...sounds more like a pantload to me...
he`s scared to death of the mexican lobby in arizona...and after bludgeoning the religious right,he`s now kissing their ass....cause he knows he`ll need them to get a republican presidential nomination....

saw mccain's interview with chris wallace & couldn't believe what i heard about the illegals paying into social security......
i believe this position cost him the republican nomination.....
also heard joe klein (time magazine writer) say on the chris matthews show (not hardball) that he heard from people in the hillary clinton circle that she might not run in 08 for the dems....she feels that she is comfortable as a senator & wants to build up senority within the senate & become powerful there.....

i`m reading that hillary isn`t exactly a big hit anymore with the far left.....because of the war and her bush compliments....
i read that susan sarandon and some other hollyweird types are actively ready to make her life miserable if she runs in the "08" primaries...

Real quick explanation for you IO.
Things can go from bad to worse for the working poor. They have only so much income left after paying taxes, rent, mortgage, whatever. ( yes, they pay taxes ) IT hurts them more when things like gas goes up. It eats up a higher percentage of their residual income than it does to the rich. Added to the cost of fuel is the cost of just about everything. The working poor income is not going to keep up with this inflation. The rich do not feel it.
Just a real quickie for ya. KoP I really don't know what you don't understand. :shrug:
