So Cal
I bet the Redskins to win the NFC at 8-1 last week
and also at 10-1 in vegas in Feb. for SBxl(bet to win the SB as well @ 25-1)
I think the odds are fairly nice
I know it was mainly a very optimistic homer play

Am I the only one who thinks they are a big contender in the NFC?

imo the nfc is a 3 way race between the giants, wash., & dallas.....with phil closely behind...

i think the giants have the best personnel but their schedule is pretty tough.....

wash. & dallas have old qb's & will do well if their offensive line protects them.....

as far as the skins go....i don't like their wide receivers.....you can double moss & their other wide receiver won't scare you....

i think 10 wins wins the nfc east.....

haven't looked at seattle's schedule but their defense got stronger by picking up the linebacker from s.f....

i think seattle will win the nfc again based on lack of competiton from the nfc west....

good luck with your wagers...

So. Cal
i wouldnt guarantee anything from seattle......they are a good team but:

1) the recent track record of super bowl losers is horrible
2) the injury factor is due to hit them
3) losing hutchinson might be a big loss
4) the nfc west will be MUCH better....stl and arizona will both be much improved

that said....the nfc is wide open

but i'd make carolina the early favorite

i think dallas and carolina are the strongest teams in the nfc- both have stacked offenses now (in terms of the nfc) and beefed up on D. washington will always be a perennial underachiever.

the Skins addressed the WR's with the 2 they brougt in Lloyd &Randel El

I'm very excited to see what A.Saunders can do with the Off.
He's a offensive genius!

if the Skins can grasp the offense quickly the will be contennders

Its going to be a fight just to make it out of the NFC East. IMO the toughest conference in football this year. I would be surprised if they finish in front of NYG and Dallas. Plus I think they over payed for Randel EL and I really don't see him being that big of an offensive impact expect special teams. And there is still one major factor that I have a problem with and its they still have Mark Burnell as their QB. And their 07' schedule is no walk in the park either.

brandon lloyd is good. he was having a fine season last year until ratay was traded. curious as to who will get them the ball at qb. truly feel that is the key to your teams sucess. not sold on any of your qb's.

I'm curios to see how that situation will play out also. With this the 1st season of A.Saunders @ Off Cord both QB's will be learning the new Off. together. Brunnel had a good season throwing to Moss, & Cooley. Thats pretty much the only WR's
they had last season. Any WR would be a improvement at that position

IMO Campbell still needs 1 more year of learning

It will be a good season...I can feel it!!
