i cant believe i just did this, but i laid -355 on atlanta in-game with pinnacle's second chance line.
smoltz has only thrown 50-some pitches and san diego isnt making him work at all. meanwhile peavy has 11 Ks but is getting close to 100 pitches already. might be only 1 more inning for peavy.
wish we didnt have different sides but im not sure the pads are going to bring a run across in this one.

that was my assumption when making the bet. braves bullpen has been horrible at times this year so i made sure to check smoltz pitch count before betting into such an obscene number. pads have been pretty impatient today and that should keep smoltz on the hill longer. we'll see.

lots of pitches for smoltz this inning. looks like it will indeed come down to the atlanta bullpen. and im not likin the thought of that. productive inning for the pads, even though its a bit paradoxical.
Really need San Diego to pull this one out....

:mj03: Never thought I would be sweating out a game in which the starting pitcher had 16 strike outs. Nice outing from Peavy, can't ask for anything more.
