Second Round ATS Info

I posted ATS results after the first round and thought I would do the same for the second round.

After the first round of the NBA playoffs we have a similar trend starting to take shape. The winning team posted a 37-6-2 record (86%) against the spread.

In the first round there were 11 ML wins. In the second round there were 11 ML wins.

The winning team posted a 20-6-0 record (77%) against the spread in the second round.

After two rounds of the playoffs the winning team is 57-12-2 (82.6%) with 22 of those wins coming on the ML. If you take out the ML wins, the percentage drops a little, 35-12-2 (74.4%), but I am sure most of you would take 74% percent anyday.

So for all you Pistons doubters tonight, ask yourself. Can the Heat win this game straight up?? If not, don't think twice about laying the points.

not sure why this is shocking

in sports with a spread.....the % is always between 80-85% that the team that wins covers the spread.....

only 15-20% of the time will the loser of the game cover the spread (ie: underdog loses but covers)

this % has been solid for years and years
