I dont understand how anything could be wrong in this article. Can someone explain to me why these two things MUST be passed together? Is there something I am missing here besides pussy politicans? Why can't we get the border secure immeditally, if for no other reason then for national security; and then deal with those who are here.
Both are giant issues in the first place.

"the bunker"
welcoms sam.....have fun...

what makes me laugh is the government`s misuse of words.....

i`m talking about the amnesty that really isn't amnesty, according to the senators who favor amnesty..... :dizzy:

and the "temporary" guest worker program section of the senate bill. ...

there's nothing "temporary" about those guest workers, as they can apply for a green card as soon as they begin working in the u.s. and for citizenship five years later....

an amendment was introduced to remove that deliberately misleading term from the senate bill, but the amendment was defeated, so we still have the "temporary" guest workers authorized in the senate bill, temps who can immediately begin the path to citizenship....

no real fence....it works in israel...

our government at work, deceiving us whenever they think necessary.....

btw...i keep hearing about the evil genius rove...... for some strange reason, puppet and puppeteer believe that legalizing people who'll probably vote about 80% to 20% for the democrats is a winning idea.....

and at the same time, you alienate your base....

these guys masterminded 9/11????

brilliant strategy.
