Not too excited about the road chalk with CC on the hill, plus the Twins made my day on Tuesday but his ability cannot be ignored and this wood is probably justified. The X factor is the tribes ability to win on the road and the Twins have shown that they can play at home with the best of them. Still debating on the RL as a possible play instead of the ML but we all know how these closers like to burn RL betters with those 9th inning cheap shots. Gonna mediate a little more of this one.
The Cubs seem to be a favorite play today and I have to tell you that I am really not surprised. This team, no matter how bad they are will always draw the money when they have a big name starter going for them. The thing of it is Greg Maddux is not going to hit for them, manage the team, and probably won't pitch a GC. So where does that leave you after 7 or 8 innings? I am not really a "dog player" except when I use them in a par to sweeten the payout but I may have to institute a fad the Cubs daily action plan like some other fellow cappers are doing. The Cubs are like th Yankees of the NL, everyone loves to bet on them day in and day out.
St. Louis and San Fran is an interesting match-up, I need to find what Carps road numbers look like from his career (any help on where to look would be appreciate) but he looks like a soild investment today. I am a little worried about who is available for St. Louis to close this game out and Lowry is no slouch. Plus Tony loves to screw with his lineup on these quick turn around day games after a night affair...however it seems like the Cardinals have some great depth this year and back ups are certainly stepping up when needed.
Back with the plays in a bit....
