Just to let some steam off, to senators Martinez and Nelson here in FL.

Of course, most would chalk it to another babbling bigotted neocon.

It greatly disappoints me that you have voted for this purely cosmetic Immigration Reform Bill.

I, along with millions of Americans of Hispanic heritage, want and demand a reform which curtails the flow of illegal, low skilled and uneducated labor into OUR country. These who rarely assimilate into our "melting pot" culture, don't respect our laws and lack respect for out true history and ideals. The percent of illegal aliens who meet that criteria is high, by any statistical standard.

The attitude of appeasement of fractional minorities and radicalized Special Interest Groups is of grave concern for many of us traditional, moderate, middle Americans (or should I soon have to say USA'ans?). Why must politicians continue to heed the yelling of the radical minority and ignore the whispers of the silent majority?

There are so many more apt people willing to come to our country through legal, bureaucratic means which can offer so much more in the way of growth to our nation as well as assimilate and contribute on a much greater scale to our economy, our culture and our future well being. So I say, if you are looking out for the foreigners instead of the citizens, why at least do you not go for the best alternative?

Why do you not demand immediate border enforcement and concern yourself so much with the plight of people who have broken our law?
Why is this discussion not about controlling and commanding our borders and IS about how to allow the current illegals in country to stay?

WHAT is so important about that in the face of constant trespassing onto our land?
It is [another] sad day in the political realm of this great country. I can only hope your decision to back such a bill has connotations and benefits beyond what a simple American can comprehend and that we will all be better off for it in the future (tongue in cheek).

Respectfully yours;

Nosigar

Good letter, Sigar, but I assume you signed it with your real name and not your forum handle? If not, it may not get handled with the reverence that it deserves.

Nice letter. Every senator who voted for this thing needs to be immediately removed from office.

Extra special FU to Arlen Spector for mysteriously adding the provision that we need to discuss and essentially get approval from Mexico before beginning construction of any walls at the border. What the hell?!

Nice letter. Let us see where Bush stands on this.

Where Bush stands, take a long look at most of what party voted for it and all you can say is how Bush stands on it.

We all know Rep and dems alike that Bush has his head up his ass on immigration, but that doesn't let all your fu****g lib senators off the hook, esp your 2 genius fu** ups from mass.

Bush likes the senates bill. Like Lu Dobbs said. Neither Bush or
the senate seems to understand what the American people want. But when the leader of the Senate Fist says you have 30 hours to finish the bill. That's when you get last minute crap. I understand the last patch of stuff Mc Cain offered was over 60 pages long. And Specter backed it. How the hell can they all know what there doing when in last hour 60 pages of chit arrive.
