I click on the Pirate game because I enjoy watching them lose and HATE Kevin McLatchey and what do I see? A ballpark full of people!!!

Why the **** are you idiots supporting this team is beyond me.

This town deserves another 14 losing seasons if they pay to watch this crap, idiots!

Boy this pisses me off.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Maybe they have seasonal variations of those bumper stickers you see around town:

"Pittsburgh: a drinking town with a football problem"

Maybe the locals are too drunk to notice what team or sport they are watching.

Pittsburgh is the proud home of sports teams like the Pirates and the Steelers----they have the only teams in America named for thier city council.

You know you're a from Pittsburgh if you only own four spices: salt, pepper, Heinz ketchup, and the bottle of Trappey's Red Devil you swiped from Primanti's.

year hg total avg
Royals 2003 78 1,779,895 22,819

2003 won 83 games finished 3rd .....7 games back

....most wins since 1993 when they averaged 23,884 per home game[hg]

thru 26 home dates avg.17,408

Destructor D...certainly understand your frustration..but an average of 24,000 to home games would still leave KC out of the top 20 teams in home attendance this season...

Now if ythey can get back to 1989 then they can approach their best season ever in home attendance...2,477,700 total 30,589 avg. per game

Sad part about it is when baseball teams in a football town decide not to invest in the team then ya get what ya get even though you love your team...No salary cap in MLB..Luxary tax yes...but nothing to stop an owner from tryin to win and compete other than poor management..poor ownership...horrible decision making.
Teams can be gutted and built back up...[ie] Fla. Marlins on 2 different occassions and they will do it again...
Hope they finally get in together for at least you and KCWOLF and other loyals
Bigger problem is when Yanks and anyother team pay the luxary tax and then it is shared by other teams...stupid business..like saying make a better burger..sell more burgers and we take your profits..
Compund that w/MLB properties and MLB team share of MLB TV packages and owners can continue to put a subpar product on the field...

Then 17,000 or so show up for home games and pay thru the gazooo for crap while owner says thank you for stopping by today...

Small part of the ans...stop going...stop supporting...don't buy a damn thing w/KC endorsed logo..
When ushers ..players and umps are the only ones to show up...maybe ...big maybe...ownership sells or invests in product..

have a good weekend and hope ya pick a bunch of winners...

speaking of winners...where the heck has KCWOLF been...man oh man when that grandpa hits a winning streak...hop on.....

I happen to be a season ticket holder to watch these scrubs. Hopefully this new GM can turn this debacle around. D- call me if you want to go to any games.
