This will be Madsen's 4th appearance in the last 10 days. His last appearance was 7 innings/105 pitches in relief Tuesday. Phillies have yet to beat the Brewers this year. Leaning over also.

Old School, Eveland hasn't been stellar for sure, but Phillies have struggled against lefties. HPU Fullwood may work against this play if Eveland doesn't show some control. As for the bulpens, you get what you get with the Brewers. Wise has been used 2 days in a row. Phils have worked Gordon & Franklin. Madson seems concerned with the 105 pitches, going with that mainly -- hot team ws cold. The old theory still works quite well: Take the dog who has won 7 of 11 (10-4) vs a fav losing 7 of 11 (2-9).

Passed on ATL total with Smoltz extra days rest.

I was at Eveland's last start against the Phillies (about a week and a half ago) and he got bailed out by some timely K's and double plays. He looked just awful, but they were able to get the breaks they needed. I like the over, personally.
