Here are my Top 8 Senior QB's for the 2007 NFL Draft with a small scouting report on each.
1. Brady Quinn-Notre Dame
-The ideal QB. Perfect size, strong arm, good accuracy, great athletic ability, and good decision making. He will need to improve his deep ball accuracy and his decision making will need to be more consistent.

2. Drew Stanton-Michigan State
-Great size, is extremely tough, very accurate, very good arm strength and runs very well. He needs to be more consistent, has had injuries, plays in a spread offense, and his deep ball needs to improve.

3. Chris Leak-Florida
-Perfect mechanics, excellent footwork, great mobility, very good accuracy, and puts good zip and touch on the ball. He is very undersized, lacks good arm strength, decision making is questionable at times, and doesn't use his speed and ability to move enough (Has been sacked 73 times and only has 107 Rushing Yards. Not anywhere the numbers a QB with a 4.65-4.70 forty should have).

4. Sam Keller-Arizona State
-Perfect size, a good decision maker, good accuracy, and a strong arm. Doesn't have top athletic ability, had an injury last season which opened the gate for Rudy Carpenter who he will have to take the job back from, and doesn't have a lot of starting experience. A people many forget about, but was having a great season last year untill his injury. Could skyrocket up the boards with a good senior season.

5. Troy Smith-Ohio State
-Excellent athletic ability, great mobility, has a nose for the endzone, poised, good arm strength and accuracy. Is undersized, very inexperienced, has maturity concerns, needs to learn how to go through his progressions better, and his mechanics could use some tuning.

6. Jordan Palmer-UTEP
-Excellent size and arm strength, good production, good at throwing on the run, has good accuracy and is poised. Is very raw and mechanics and techinque need some work, decision making needs to be better, and has had injury problems. He didn't start playing football untill his senior year of high school, but I believe he has the potential to be better than his older brother Carson Palmer, but needs a lot of work.

7. Trent Edwards-Stanford
-Excellent size, great athletic ability, poised and let's plays develop, and has good arm strength. Needs to be more consistent and improve his accuracy and decision making. He is set-up for what could be a skyrocketing senior season. He could easily launch himself into the 1st Round (along with the likes of Jordan Palmer and possibly Sam Keller) and has some underrated weapons in WR Mark Bradford (younger brother of NFL WR Corey Bradford), WR Evan Moore (a big target at 6-7), and TE Matt Traverso. O-Line is bad though and will need to make quick decisions, which he has done a good job of thus far.

8. Kevin Kolb-Houston
-Has very good size, excellent athletic ability and at running the football, a lot of starting experience, good accuracy, very productive (with only Vincent Marshall as a weapon), good instincts, and is a great leader and is poised. He has been banged up a lot though (95 Sacks in his career leads the way by far), arm strength is only average, and decision making needs to improve. Is a very good player who could move up the boards and into the 1st day if he can improve his decision making in his senior season.

Others to watch (alphabetical order):
John Beck-BYU
Luke Getsy-Akron
Steven Moffett-Central Florida
Tyler Palko-Pittsburgh
James Pinkney-East Carolina
Lester Ricard-Tulane
Jeff Rowe-Nevada
Drew Tate-Iowa
Jared Zabransky-Boise State

I'm sorry if I sound rudd in this following statement, but your kidding right? You apparently didn't read the thread at all. It's a 2007 NFL Draft QB Preview aka a preview of the senior QB's in the upcoming 2007 NFL Draft. Matthew Stafford is entering his first year of college ball. Please read the thread next time.

Yeh I know where I am. And I read the thread.

No one is in here yet. Not until pre-season so kinda informal.

Just wondering what you had heard about this Stafford.

I am prone to bet alot on some Georgia games.

It's Joshua Gleason...

I don't really following high school recruiting much except for Syracuse and Penn State (my favorite schools). I feel that if I put too much into these rankings coming out of high school it could affect how I go to rank them when for going into the NFL which in most cases is totally different. I've read a bit about him on message boards and he seems like a very promising QB and could start for Georgia this year.
