proper or improper ?

i believe that as long as there was a search warrant, the fbi was in the right to raid jefferson's office....that nobody is above the law...

but there are those who believe that this was a violation of the constitution...where the executive branch over stepped it's boundaries.....

does anybody else have any opinions on this ?

If it's ok to raid his house, then why not his office is how I look at it. With a search warrant, of course, as you mention.

I could be wrong, but how is the F.B.I. a part of the 'executive branch', anyways?

i don't know...but isn't that the complaint ?

i also heard today (don't know if it's true) that the fbi asked for the info before the raid but jefferson refused the request....

Yeah, that's the complaint. I wasn't addressing that to you( replying since you mentioned it), but more in general. That's the complaint, but I don't think the FBI is considered part of the executive branch.

Jefferson is a miserable puke. Yeah - the FBI was proper in DOING THEIR JOB. Jefferson was being uncooperative, so absolutely nothing wrong with what the FBI did.

SO we find today the FBI must not of new what they were looking for. 18 hours they were in his office. I say if the law says it's ok then it is. If one branch of the government has been wronged. Then something should be done about it. This is not just about congress. It's about your/our rights also.

they just need to do whatever it takes to get all the thieving bribe taking, corrupt, lobby money stealing, campaign contribution thiefs, etc etc forever.

Until they do that , there is no justice in America.

So many politicians take office with getting richer in mind.

Our goverment at work.

FBI has every right to go into Jeffersons dumb ass office.

Any doubt if he's not ousted and runs again the same that voted Ray Nagin back in as mayor would vote him back in--I sincerely believe Marion Barry would have been re-elected if given opportunity--

If you remember correctly Marion Barry was re-elected even after being convicted and taped smoking crack.

Bill Campbell in Atlanta was re elected and everyone knew he was a crook.

Nagin.... was re elected by the write in votes from out of state.
They thought it was best to keep him.

I did hear one good suggestion today. That was to tie voting into our home telephones so we can call in and vote over the phone.

Seems easy to do, and maybe we would get 80% turnouts.
