Well the mother of my 2 older kids moved again with no phone call or anything. She moved from New York to Philly. It is a long story. They live on Gilham St. and I won't give the exact address after watching dateline the other night on sex pervs. The most I could get out of a google was it is a few miles from Wissinoming Park. I think US1 and Roosevelt. I would just like to find out what kind of area it is and if I should empty the bank account again trying to get custody.

Thanks for any and all help

its in north east philly, not too bad of an area. i looked at the google map of it, its not too far from cottman avenue which is a major road in the area on the "boulevard" which is route 1. there are good & bad parts of the northeast with a mix of caucasians, african americans & Jewish people in the northeast. mostly it is a working class area and is ok. places to avoid in philly are north & west philly, but this is the north-east as it is known.

Thanks guys. It makes me feel a little bit better of their move. Also I checked the map in another thread for pervs and the closest one is like 8 miles to their address.

Thanks for the help and I really do appreciate it...

Yep, I think of the Northeast as blue collar, lower-middle class area. There are exceptions when go a little further out like Elkins Park, which is rather nice.

US 1 is Roosevelt Blvd. From what am a guessing here is they are on the Eastern Side of US1. This general is OK. It is not the ghetto, like the god forshaken area of West Philly, but it is far from good living.

Overall I would give the area a C-.

Nothing to really worry about too much.
