Hello soon-to-be neighbors...

I will be moving up to Cinci on Sunday before my wedding in NC and had 2 questions

What's the best bank for me to set up my accounts at, has most ATM locations etc? Is Fifth third the one to get?

What is the cable company up there? Please tell me it's time warner...I think it is. I've had time warner down here in NC and have been really, really pleased with them. My parents up in jersey have comcast and if I have to get that scum, well, i'd almost rather go without.

Thanks for the help :SIB

go with national city, they moved to cleveland but lindners still owns it, and they have atm's all over in the united dairy farmers, you'll see what I mean when you get here. the cable is time warner.

I use Fifth Third here in Indiana, they have an account called E-53 checking, that has not fees for foreign atm's if you had to use one like at work or something.

With Cinci being there home officie, I would imagine that would be a good bank to go with

Lived in the area and moved all around the city - bsucards is right - Fifth Third (by default - Chase is better but there aren't enough branches) and DirecTV if you are solely talking cable. However, if you're into bundling services (digital + cell phone + cable + internet) - check into Time Warner Cable or Cincinnati Bell.

Time Warner sucks in comparison to DTV - I had TW for 7 years until last year.

Good luck and welcome.

5/3 sucks, National Shittie sucks but they do have a lot of ATM's. Lindner sold his interest in Provident when it became National Shittie. I like little banks (what few remain). Chase sucks as badly as the other two. Take your pick, whicheverone you pick they will screw you one day.

I heard nothing but complaints from friends about fifth third when I lived up there, also from people that worked there, they all hated their jobs :scared

I believe if you live in Cincinnati, it is Time Warner but if you live in northern Kentucky its Insight.
