Never watched it--but the most viewed sport world wide so can't argue with that--however read somewhere that pro wrestling ranks near top of hits on internet??. Have always wondered why soccor fans are so violent--more deaths occur in fan related incidents than all other sports combined--1st thing that came to mind when Moe jumped on Clint for stating a non abusive opinion.

i appoligized..i thought at 1st he was being sarcastic and picked the 0-0 game to make his point,when in fact i and others thought it was a great game..............pen,i got another won for you..c.ronaldo to score +225...in the 3pm game.

I watched my first WC in '90 when Italy hosted. However, it wasn't until the last one in Japan/Korea that I actually started wagering on matches.

It takes knowledge of the game to appreciate the subtleties of the game.

I'll always view "American" football as "the" game of football. But soccer has its place. I'd much rather watch the WC than the NBA Finals. :shrug:

this USA game is much better. They seem to be dominating possession to me, but they aren't doing much with it. We need som 6' 8" guys like the Czech Republic has I think.

Well the US game was pretty disappointing. I understand that the Czech team is amazing, but it looked like our boys gave up. I hope this loss wakes them up and theyll be ready to play against the rest of their group.

BTW im new to MJsports. My name is matt and Im from DC. I work in marketing, and if you can guess it my favorite football team is the redskins. Im big into soccer and hope the US can make it out of the first round.
