I know I am not playing this big but I can't let free money go by the wayside.

Miami comes back at home after being embarressed by Dallas and down 0-2.

Shaq was so pissed he refused to show up for game interviews. The team and Shaq were fined.

Shaq promises to bring a championship to Miami. Riley makes all the right moves and gets the team to the finals.

Home court. Fans looking for something to cheer about.

Are you kidding me. No way Miami fawking loses this game.

If they do Shaq may tear down a goal post.

Anyways , its worth this money for me to see this outcome.

Dallas coasting. Dallas knows they just got to take one game in Miami. Give the Miami fans something to cheer about tonight.

Extend the series so everyone makes money.

I have seen this so many times in the NBA playoffs over the years.

It seems simple enough.

NEW YORK -- Shaquille O'Neal of the Miami Heat was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Saturday for publicly criticizing officials after Game 3 of the Chicago Bulls' playoff series.

O'Neal had eight points, four rebounds and five fouls in Miami's 109-90 loss to the Bulls on Thursday at the United Center. The Bulls cut the Heat's lead to 2-1 in this first-round series, and have a chance to tie it Sunday afternoon.

After getting into early foul trouble, O'Neal spent most of the second quarter on the sideline. The Heat center had only one basket in the first three quarters, and said after the game he was "humiliated."

O'Neal said referees target him and he knew he was in trouble when he saw Bob Delaney was working the game. He averaged 24.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in the first two games of the playoff series.

Anyone know what happened after this game ?

Anyone know if Delaney is a ref tonight ?

Sorry, but I'm going the other way. Dallas has been solid all season on the road (8-1 ATS their last 9 in playoffs) and I am surprised they are getting 4.5 tonight (I thought 2.5-3 would be the number). I think most bettors are thinking the same way you are thinking and can't fathom the Heat losing another game. Well see what happens and there is a good chance I'll be wrong. At least one of use will be happy. The Mavericks won a couple games in San Antonio so I'm guessing they could win @ Miami.

I dont think its how well Dallas will play. I believe in the conspiracy theory of NBA games.

Kinda one of them grassy knoll thingees in the big money playoff games.

Miami's challenge is a daunting one. Only the 1969 Boston Celtics and the 1977 Portland Trail Blazers have won championships after losing the first two games of the Finals.

No team has ever rallied from any 3-0 series deficit.

Anyone that thinks the Heat team are not aware of that stat is living in la la land.

why not buy 3 points at -170 instead of playing money line at 200?

I don't know who the refs are for tonight's game, but I do not think it will be Delaney. I don't believe the same crew works two games in a row. The officials from game 1 were Bennett Salvatore , Joe Crawford and Joe Derosa. Game 2 crew was Bob Delaney , Eddie F. Rush and Steve Javie.

Shaq needs to be a man and take responsibility for his terrible game. Blaming the ref is way too easy and in this case inaccurate. Shaq was whistled for four fouls in 38 minutes in game 1. During his 28 minutes played in game 2 he was whistled for exactly one personal. Shaq was shut down by the Mavs D and not Bob Delaney or whoever he wants to blame. Shaq is just not the same player he once was. He cannot take over games any longer and has the ability to only dominate for short stretches of time, usually when the Heat have a double digit lead and he does not have to worry about picking up fouls.

That information was from the Chicago Bulls game.

The big thing for me is that if Miami does go down 3-0 in this series,
no one is going to watch the games the rest of the way, as we all know from history its pretty much over.

Therefore, to keep everything on the up and up. Dallas just slows it down a hair. One of them off games. One of them days that you just cant find the hole, One of them games where you play the
not so tough defense, one of them giveaway games.

Miami wins this game and all the fans in the white shirts go home without a voice from screaming for the home team so loud.

NBA is fantastic.

I smell money and it smells green !

Scott...sorry I just reread your post about Chicago and you were correct...

But your logic that nobody will watch if the Mavs win Game 3...I must disagree. Nobody will watch if they feel that the games are being won or lost by the referees. I am sure that when the Pistons beat the Lakers in 5 games two years ago, many people had the same theory...The officials will give the two superstars, Kobe and Shaq, all the calls to extend the series. The "better team" was the Pistons and despite any outside interference they won in five relatively easy games. The closest margin of victory for them was 8 points and the one game they lost was in OT. The Mavs are clearly the better team in this series, and if they make the same commitment to defense that they did in the first two games, they should have no trouble winning two of the next three games in Miami and returning to Dallas as World Champs.

Dallas can end the series anytime they want.

Every NBA team just does not play full out every game.

Thats what will happen tonight.

I am a little worried about a mental lapse tonight with the Mavs... but it is the NBA finals, so if you're going to get pumped up at anytime, it should be now...

good luck...
