Not much to be said about this game that has not already been said. Mavericks should come out with something to prove as they were just 6 minutes away from a 3-0 lead. They went cold and let Wade just take over down the stretch. Dirk missing that foul shot at the end was very un-Dirk-like.
Here is my thoughts on Wade. He gets a cortisone shot before the game. Plays well in the first quarter and some of the second. Then his shot starts to wear off, the Mavs pull away for a halftime lead. He gets shot up again at the half and gets the Heat back into it. The game is close until the fourth quarter when Wade again starts to feel the effects of his injury. The Mavs take over and finish the game on the foul line. Dirk scores the last eight points of the game, all from the foul line while singing Hasselhoff to himself. The Mavs win by 10 points. Final Score 95-85.
