Just thought I would say that I live for Sweet Tea with a big fat lemon or lime. My favorite restaurant Sweet Tea would have to be McAlisters Deli followed by Sonnys BBQ and Chick-Fil-a. I also make Sweet Tea from time to time with some loose black tea. There is nothing better than sitting down on the couch with a healty tumbler filled to the brim with Sweet tea and some homemade boiled peanuts.

I was hoping we could share some Sweet Tea recipes, stories, and restaurant choices.

They have Sonnys and Chick-Fil-A in Iceland? There's one of each within 2 miles of where I live and I have to apologize for some terrible BBQ and terrible fast food that America is exporting.

in a van down by the river
Bring to boil 5 cups of water. Add 5 bags of Lipton tea remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes. In a gallon pitcher put 1 and quarter cups of sugar and then pour tea into the pitcher and stir. Fill the rest of the pitcher with water.

chick-fil-a is terrible? probably the best chicken sandwich fast food you can buy.

DETROIT, I don't have any recipes, but I do love sweet tea. I know I like it made with real sugar better than sweetener, and I also drink caffeine free, and it's also great. My mother has a tea maker that does a great job making it. Look into one of those if you drink it a lot.

I greatly miss sweet tea whenever I travel out of the South. I ordered sweet tea in South Dakota, North Dakota, and in several provinces of Canada, and they don't know what it its. :142smilie They are missing out!

For my money, I don't know if it gets any better than a sweet tea from a local establishment in Lake City, FL called Ken's BBQ. There are 3 Ken's in Lake City, and if you are ever in the area, I suggest you hop off of I-75 and treat yourself to this sensational establishment. Also, be on the lookout for the Sweet Tea Empire, a restaurant I happen to know to be in the works for the future. Look out, it's the next big thing.

Clint,

I think it's disgusting. Can't stand that place. I had a girlfriend who liked it a lot, so I have way more experience with them than i'd like.

The fast food chicken sandwich, if that's what we're wanting, is soooo much better at Wendys.

And what's up with the chicken and egg breakfast sandwich? That's gross.

One of my favorite breakfast stops as well. I love the chicken sandwich with egg.

I think it's a little expensive, or I would eat there more. yummy! Way better than Wendy's that's been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. Wendy's blows! Eat more chikkin!
