Kerry--the ulitimate flopper saying you can't have it both ways :mj07:

Kerry, who was widely criticized as the party's standard-bearer in 2004 for being too cautious in his criticism of the war, said Tuesday that politicians "cannot have it both ways."

and most misleading site title goes to--truthout.org

Truth Is Out, But Truthout Is Silent

As of late this afternoon, the left-wing Web site Truthout.org ? which triggered a minor furor when it reported last month that White House adviser Karl Rove had been indicted in the CIA leak case ? had yet to disavow its assertion despite the news that there had not been an indictment against Rove and that the special prosecutor had no intention of seeking one.

What's more, reporter Jason Leopold ? who first reported the Rove indictment ? was standing by the story as recently as yesterday speculating that the indictment had not yet been announced because it was still under seal in District Court. The original story claiming that Rove had already been indicted remained on the site.

This is hardly any more of a flip-flop than McCain's sudden reversal of thoughts on Falwell.

i couldn't agree more....

mccain also will not get the republican nomination (he blew it on the immigration issue)...& unless mccain runs on a 3rd party ticket,he has no hope of ever running for the presidency.

more flopping--but predictable--Game plan--have no plan other than complain regardless of what happens or what stance you took prior ;)

Hot Hockey

Senate Democrats came out firing after reports that the Iraqi government would consider granting amnesty to insurgents who attacked U.S. troops. Democratic Leader Harry Reid called on the president to force Iraq to withdraw the plan. Carl Levin called it "unthinkable" and "unacceptable," and Chuck Schumer said the proposal "makes us think we don't have a real policy in Iraq."

But all three criticized the decision to disband the Iraqi army after the U.S. invasion, arguing that the coalition should have kept those soldiers who'd shot at Americans on active duty.

In 2003, Levin called it a "major mistake" to disband the army arguing that the coalition should reinstate mid-level officers and those below them.

before its over, Bush himself will be flipping about the war. He wishes he had a out now.
Bush has already done the flip flop many times in his reasons for going to war. Not to mention he said that Iraq would pay for the war with oil profits. Not to mention Rumsfeld who said he thought could last up to 6 months. It goes on and on but it is not repeated over and over again on Fox News or in the Corporate Press.

Wasn't it up to a year ago that the horrible war was only about oil?
I guess this is the new message the socialists are putting out:Where's the Oil?"

Dang, now they want all the friggin' oil.

Nosigar, don't go twisting things like a closet neocon. Bush said that we would be able to pay for the war with the profits from Iraq's oil. It has nothing to do with if this is a war for oil or not. President said and now has backed off of. Making it a flip flop!
Maybe someday guys like you will get their heads out of Bush's ass and see things for what they are.

Your problem is that you think we are acting like you all did when clinton was president. You all had your heads up his and hillary's asses so far that if they farted your brains would have been blown out.

With Bush he is calmly leading our country in the right direction and doing it by showing guts and determination not to be swayed from his mission.

You left wingers are not used to that kind of leadership from your side, well how could you with what you have to work with.

Hang in their the President is making this country better in spite of all you whinny sniveling weak kneed wussies. :142smilie :mj07:

Do you really exect anyone to take these as fact.

Without nit picking each one --I've got a few question for you--Who has spent more on education than any pres--in which admin has crime been at all time low--which VA benefits did he cut and which did he RAISE.

the only anology I can see that would remotely resemble an issue on flopping would be--

FLIP: Bush is for states' right to decide on gay marriage.
FLOP: Bush then proposes amending the Constitution so they can't.
