I'm having trouble trying to do basically a directory assistance search on it... it gives me places over 100 miles from my present location when i search wal*mart.

any step by step would be appreciated for searching within a city for something when you don't already know the address of the place.

We know how to read a map sorry my wife doesn't have one because she wouldn't know how to work it either. :142smilie

so Vinny, you telling me you sit in the passenger seat and read the map, and have the wife drive because women are better drivers?

i have the thing mastered with the exception of the directory assistance thing!! (my kids were the ones that had to show me how to get MP3's onto it tho.....LOL)


i don't mind reading a map to get from state to state, city to city...etc..... but getting to a specific address in a larger city, the thing can't be beat..... PLUS, i have to put on reading glasses these days to even consider reading a map, and with the reading glasses on, the road becomes a blur..... not a safe option, eh??
Think maybe it's time i go for prescriptionless bifocals.

Bought the gf one of those hand held map things...........for Xmas. She still hasn't figured it out and had to call me the other day when lost in the city. Complete waste of my $$. I can ask her how it looks though. Like buying a toy for a kid, except worse. She really needs this to do her home health thing and won't take the time to figure it out.
