I watch european soccer all the time and even manage to squeeze in a couple SA games each week. I can safely say that there is nothing intimidating about Italian soccer players.....or Spanish....or most English....etc. At least 90% are panzies on the field.
I loved playing and was an exceptional player, but still think 70% of the games are boring. The only reason it attracts so much international attention is because it is the only affordable game to play amongst poor kids in non-1st world countries.
......................................really? and rugby, basketball are expensive?euros love their basketball but it doesnt compare to soccer.best teams in the world are not 3rd world countries.lots of sports have boring games espeacilly if you have no real attachment to a team.it sucks when you dont have a real team with connections to root for.hockey is not my favorite sport but i cant go with out my nyrangers and no game they play is boring to me.ive watched just about every single game the last 15 years and theyve suked for most of the time..i root for manchester united but if i miss a game here and their its not a big deal.it would help if you had a team to call yours,u know what i mean?
