You guys are slipping. I just read in the paper where Cindy Sheehan was leading 1200 protesters in Austria(where there was a summit) yesterday. They were chanting 'Bush go home.'

I can't believe there isn't a whiner thread on this from you guys.

String 'er up!

She was in Canada a couple days ago and drew bout 100 people.
She doesn't interest me much and har followers even less.
Was much more interested in senate voting on Kerry's ( who many here voted for as pres) mission of retreat. Waiting for list of those in same mode that voted for it--shouldn't take long believe vote was 93-6 against. Any remorse yet from those who voted for him--you might get 2nd chance to make amends--he won't quit running as long as his wife has money ;)

Interesting logic, Wayne. The only thing is, is that we never would have been there in the first place under Kerry. I doubt we would have been there with any other administration not full of people and advisors who had planned this for a decade. See: Cheney, Rumsfeld, Feith, Wolfowitz, Perle..and on and on.

It took this combination of people and of course 9/11 to create the perfect storm of idiocy.

My only remorse is that he conceded in Ohio when EVERYONE knows that was crooked.

Other than that, no not much. I don't think it was actually surrender. We won the War part of this thing very easily because, surprisingly, Iraq didn't have any weapons to fight back.

It is the OCCUPATION that is killing us. And Halliburton can't seem to get the job done

. But then again, is it really in Halliburtons interest to get the job done. Seems like the more it cost us the better it is for Halleburton and the whole Carlyle Group.

By the way, isn't Daddy Bush a big shot in that Carlye Group? .

Absolutely no remorse from me, Wayne. Considering the alternative was George W. Bush, I would mark that ballot every time for someone who was - and is - supremely more qualified to be President, can express themselves and communicate with a high level of intelligence, and possibly would have kept us on task in the search for Bin Laden and not dodging roadside bombs and insurgents in a country that did not attack us for billions of dollars each month. To each their own, but I am very proud - every single day - to say I did not vote for the embarrassing George W. Bush. I would vote for John Kerry today - again. I think there are even more people today that would that voted for Bush in the last election that would consider Kerry more (except for the Diebold machine areas where you can assume your vote might go to someone else if it showed up at all).

Depends which way prevailing winds were blowing--if I'm not mistaken didn't he vote for it before he voted against it. Whose knows what his stance will be tomorrow.
