OK the check for $7600 is in my hand........now I wonder if it's any good??? Heading to my bank to deposit it, hmmm maybe I will go to her bank and try to cash it.........I will need to think this one over.... :SIB

get it cashed fast. I've got the same problem right now. Sold a big tv and was the nice guy and took a check for a couple hundred. called the bank that saturday she gave it to me and it was good. went to my bank on monday to deposit it and she had closed the account already.

I would go cash the check and go shopping for estimates below $7600. Once you find a cheaper estimate, get the work done, pocket the change and go to the strip club later.
