Why would anyone play Stl tonight? I don't care how good it looks but there's been two things so consistant it's scary in these IL games. The team that wins game 1 wins the series. Cle won last night and the odds say they will get one of the next two. AL is killing the NL. AL dogs have been winning ever since IL started. The two strongest trends in this year's IL are going against you and that's enough to keep me off the game, but then look a little closer. Reyes has not faced a narrow strike zone this year and tonight he will. On the other hand, Sabathia has been around a while and is used to seeing it. Stl might win tonight but it won't cost me anything either way.

Not to mention, the Cardinals have lost 7 straight. I know a lot of people are thinking that can't continue. I believe the opposite is true. The Cardinals must win a game to end the streak before I lay a penny on them. If it's a close game, advantage Cleveland. Izzy is atrocious right now!

woudlnt play stlouis, pitt, cubs, braves and not betting against a red hot bosox team. speaking of st. louis their pitching staff has went to hell in a hand basket and the closer has a 1.58 whip which is horrendous.

Maybe cause they are a .560 ball club and I don't see them getting swept at home after just getting swept 2 times on the road! If it were a poor ball club under .500 than yeah I wouldn't touch the game!
Than again what do I know!

Billy, they are 333 against the AL. The only team they won a game against was KC.

I agree with you gsp. I played 3 games tonight. CWS, Cle and Oak. I didn't post them. I guess I just did. I think this tight zone will get to Reyes not Sab. We will see, I guess.
