Lakers signing Radmonavich

hahah at the lakers.

mitch, is that the best you can do?

giving him 5 years at MLE level? u must be out of your mind mitch and jerry buss.

is this dude your new brian cook because its basically the same player, good shooter, terrible defender.

Why didn't you go for your needs at PG instead?

lol oh the lakers franchise, never ceases to make me laugh,

Hornets signing Peja Stoyayovich

Dude is not worth that money. However, a good signing nonetheless, as Chris pauls job will be easier with a shooter outside.

Tim Thomas to Clippers

Good signing.. but.. how will TT do now that he is not with nash and the freestyle offense of PHX.

Jason Terry re-signs with Mavs

50 mil contract is pretty good considering what Terry did for the mavs. Howard is smiling right now as he will be able to get paid also soon.

A bitter Kings fan here, but if history shows us anything Peja will make the signing seem worthwhile in the reg season. He will help NO to a playoff spot somehow....then totally dissappear as they are swept out first round.
Actually the fact that they play in the west means they might not make the playoffs the whole time Peja is there, so this signing may never be exposed
The Thomas signin just depends on which thomas they get. The usual lazy one, or the one from last years playoffs. Not suprised Phx let him go, they have a logjam already.

This is the major question. I don't think he will be nearly as successfull in a set offense. I don't know what he signed for but if he got a big contract then I would question the signing.

I think Pete Stojakovic will do well in New Orleans, he will feel important and that is crucial for his fragile mentality

I thought the Villaneuva for TJ Ford trade was interesting. Jury is still out on that one. Do the Bucks go after a PG now or is Mo Williams their guy?

Bobby Jackson & Peja to the Hornets is huge for them. Gives them some veteran leadership. Are they losing anyone big in free agency? If not, with the leadership of Byron Scott they will be playoff contenders.

Lakers - another flail :mj07:

Nene dance2 :thumb: dance2 as long as he heals from his injury :mj09: he has more potential than Martin - now can the Nuggets get rid of KMart? I can't think of any potential suitors...

hey hippo! :SIB

Maybe the new york knicks? :142smilie Isiah ready to pull the trigger!!

Nuggets desperately need a SG and they desperately need a half court offense and they desperately need help in the shooting of the 3 ball.

They will always be good on the break but they won't win any playoff series with their horrid half court offense. For the sake of the franchise they need to ship out KMART to get some commodities.

any scoop on reggie evans plans out there in Colorado?

lakers franchise never ceases to make you laugh?really .just about every franchise in the nba wishes they were the lakers... tim thomas good sighning?witch tim thomas will they get? how about the same tim thomas that has underachieved his whole career.the suns score 120 a game b/c of nash and the way the offence is ran by him and the coach, with or with out thoma.what makes you think he will be good now?...btw played against him in high school and was lazy then also, the guy was great without trying,i guess now he just doesnt have the extra gear you need to be on that diffrent level b/c he never learned how to use it,or he just happy making his millions at his skill level the way it is.

I know that the nuggets are really trying to retain reggie evans. he is a hot commodity right now because he is a solid reserve forward.

stan kroenke seems commited to spending some loot by signing Melo and Nene rather quickly so I would expect to see Evans back.

hey spurs,

I think that is a solid pick up by the spurs when they traded for Matt Bonner. This guy is a total sleeper and can really light it up from the outside. Nestorovic sucked and the spurs didn't need him anyway so another great manuver by the spurs IMO. you like?

Very true - Andre can't shoot the ball and we have no solid SG, so we can't spread the floor well and open up opportunities for Melo and the bigs. The Nugs are now over the luxury tax limit, so unless they move KMART there is not much room to work with... If they can't move him, then I think they should go big - Camby, Nene, Martin, Melo, Dre  Melo plays like a shooting guard most of the time anyway. Doesn't help with the shooting woes, but the frontcourt would be dominate.

If we can retain Evans, with him, Najera and Boykins as the primary bench players that is looking aaiight.

looks like the Clipshow have retained Sam Cassell

2 years 13 million

I'll be interested to see how he performs in his old age not playing for a new contract.

I know the nuggets offered him 3 years at 12 million so the Clips really layed out for him compared to what other teams thought he was worth.

I'd say that it is a safe play for the Clips, especially since he will positively effect their young PG Livingston

also looks like Dwayne Wade will stay w/ the Heat after signing an extension. I really thought he would test the free agent waters next year.

yeah, Miami is a cool place to live and play, but I can't help but think that they will be an average to poor team in a few years w/ all of the old men retiring.

It is attractive to go to play for Miami so maybe some big names will sign with the Heat in the future and upper management must have convinced Wade that this will be the case
