This guy Turnbow is the worst closer I have ever seen. 2 walks and why would you ever think pitching to Griffey in that spot with a base open is a good idea?????????????? :shrug:
this is getting to be an all to common thing in mlb. there needs to be an investigation. i wish i had game tapes from the 70,s and 80's so i could compare a little bit. but i would say there werent near the blown saves there are now. maybe i'm wrong but i dont think so
