5-1 (+8.00 units) yesterday
12-6 (+14.53 units) overall

two 5-1 days in a row to put me at plus 14.53 units. it is a shame that i do not have a money on these. since i started picking just for the fun of it, i have done well. even though i seem to have straightened myself out, i am going to continue just picking for fun. losing over 50 units just wiped me out. i like to set a limit what i can lose in a season and when it gets to that point i stop. i will just continue to post my plays for the heck of it and wait until football starts for my next real wager. i hope some others out there can make some money from my picks now that i am winning.

phillies -131 vs san diego (3 units)............i called last nights phillies game right, although the phillies chump pitcher did not get bombed like i thought he would. i am just not happy with the phils choices with their starting pitching due to all the injuries. ryan madson gets the start tonight, and i like him alot. phils have been winning in games he starts. i think the philllies bats come alive today and this game will not even be close. since i started playing games without any real money on them, and have not researched as much and just going by some gut feelings and it has worked out so far. phillies are getting leiber back on friday, so things might be looking up for them, at least i hope as a phillies fan. i know the division is out of reach, but a wild card is still possible.

milwaukee -135 vs cubs (3 units).......one word...Capuano. this guy can pitch, while cubs starter maddux just average at best, at least on the road this year. cubs are their usual underachieving selves, time for baker to get fired, it should happen soon. not much of an explanation needed for this one.

mets -175 vs pittsburgh (2 units)............another game that requires no explanation. the road challenged pirates vs the mets. enough said. enjoy the free cash.

white sox -210 vs baltimore (2 units)..........very similar to the above game. great home team vs poor road team. sox need to keep pace with tigers and won't lose games like this if they want to.

cleveland -102 vs yankees (1 unit)..........randy johnson just does not scare anybody anymore. cleveland will not him out by the fifth inning today and outscore the yankees.

cincinnati +175 vs atlanta (1 unit)............the braves are playing better ball right now, that is for sure, but this is still a down year for them. braves have a losing record at home while the reds have a winning record on the road, so this is worth a shot at this price. reds have plenty of incentive as they are fighting for not only the wild card, but division still could be won if the cards continue to struggle. only reason the line is so big is hudson pitching for the braves, but he is 0-3 his last three starts and can certainly be hit by a reds team with some offense.

there you go, six more picks. hope my good luck continues. i think this not betting on them has taken the pressure off and has helped me pick winners. i don't know.....it has been a rough year.. good luck everybody!!

LOVE Cleveland, 2.5 unit play for me (my biggest is 3 for normal plays that i like, 1-3 units...sometimes i go 4-6 when its a GOY/GOM type scenario for me...anyway, like you give a shnit about my breakdown lol)...love Cleveland, and also played Phily myself...Madsen is the future ace of this team, the kid has shown signs of brilliance throughout the last couple years, out of the bullpen and now as a starter...My heart wants the Pads to win, but my money is dedicated to the Phillies. Park has been solid as of late, but he has the advantage of pitching in Petco, where we are lucky to have a 25HR hitter each season, if that. Madsen knows how to pitch in philly and chan ho has proven he can get lit up in hitters park (like he did at the GABP in texas)...gl
