I'll never understand how MLB managers get their jobs. The Brewers were up 2-1, runners on 1st and 2nd with one out, Fielder at the plate with a 3-2 count, and one of the worst pitchers in baseball on the mound, Glendon Rusch. Nevermind the fact that Fielder is a strikeout waiting to happen, the two slow runners (Jenkins and Lee) are actually SENT on the pitch. Of course Fielder strikes out, and of course Jenkins is thrown out. It really seemed liked they were on the verge of getting to Rusch and breaking it open. Instead, the inning ends and Davis goes out and gives up 3 runs the next inning. Way to absolutely DESTROY the momentum there buddy. Ballgame.

And last night I actually saw Carl Everett, who is hitting .230, greenlit on a 3-0 pitch late in the game in a crucial situation (it was a 2-1 game). I'm at a loss for words at how idiotic MLB managers are. It's staggering.

The good thing for anyone on the Brewers is that as long as they can keep it within 3 runs they will get to face Dempster in the 9th.

Davis walks Nevin with the bases loaded. He seems to mentally already be on his All-Star break.

I chalked up the Milwaukee game as a loss after CHI scored those 3 in the 4th to go up 4-2. That moronic managerial decision just deflated the whole team. Luckily I didn't have much on the Brewers so I guess I can't be too mad. Congrats to anyone who had the Cubs...

I feel your pain Rex. I have the over in that Indians game. Looks like they pulled the ol' Mariners... "We'll have one big inning and then take the rest of the day off" b.s. today.
