It is amazing to me that they dont have one guy on the team that can get a runner home from 3rd with less than 2 out. Ichiro might be as bad as Sexson in that situation. I believe I could strike Ritchie Sexson out. Whoever gave that sorry f*cker 13 million a year should be shot.

Ritchie Sexson makes Rob Deer look like a great hitter. Hargrove should bat him 8th he is f*cking worthless.

LMAO at Rob Deer.. I feel the same way about Hairston Jr. for Texas.. Richie Sexson is a waste of a lot of Benjamins. I cannot bet on Seattle ever because they always screw me. ON my no bet list.

I had the "good" fortune of being at that game last night GMoney. The highlight had to be seeing Hargrove let Everett swing away with a 3-0 count in a 2-1 game and Johjima on deck. Nevermind that Everett is a .230 hitter and Johjima is a .290 hitter. What a genius.

Just my opinion, but I think there are very few spots where you should back the M's. They don't hit at all and their pitching is very mediocre. Also, if they get down in a game it's almost an automatic loss because not only is their offense bad, but Hargrove will usually bring in either Green or Woods out of the BP, and both guys are awful.

Last thing I'll say... always look at betting against Pineiro when he's pitching. He's been terrible this year and probably won't be in the starting rotation much longer. Meche has been pitching better lately so I have backed off of betting against him, but Pineiro has been a cash cow.

Yeah I saw that last night Everett swinging 3-0 that reminded me of Jeremy Burnitz a couple weeks ago with 1st and 2nd 0 out and swinging 3-0 and hitting into a dp. Burnitz is the left handed version of Ritchie Sexson.

Is Ritchie Sexson capable of pulling the ball or is all he can do is pop up to the 2nd baseman or strike out.

HA! That's a good comparison between Burnitz and Sexson. They are the same exact type of player... just throw garbage up there and don't give them anything good to hit and they won't hurt you. If you get ahead in the count they're pretty much done. Sexson actually has pretty good power numbers this year, his average is just awful. And of course he's on pace for about 4,000 K's as usual. And yeah, he's almost a strictly pull hitter. He usually only hits to the right side on accident or when he's just fighting pitches off to stay alive.

Im not an Ichiro fan either. I have always said he never knocks in a big run. I looked at his his stats and I saw something amazing. With a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs he is hitting .063. That is an unbelievable stat for a supposedly great hitter. He is the king of the 2 out nobody on single. Hargrove is a moron he should play Perez everyday and bat him after Ibanez and drop Sexson in the order.

Wow. That is amazing. In past years Ichiro has been very clutch. But yeah, this year he has struggled in those spots. I've never been a big fan of his "tennis backhand" swing at the plate. I also don't like how he gets a running start. He basically looks like a women's softball player.

Hargrove is definitely one of the worst managers in baseball. It's not a coincidence his last 3 seasons have been 90+ loss seasons. He can't manage a BP to save his life and he has botched numerous pinch-hitting situations.

Get this... immediately after they got Perez he had a perfect spot to use him. Bases loaded and Willie Bloomquist was up with a lefty on the mound. Perez KILLS lefties and Bloomquist doesn't hit at all. He left Bloomy in there and he grounded out. The next inning Bloomquist got injured diving for a ball. When asked about not hitting Perez in that spot he said... get this... if I had used Perez in that spot then who would I have replaced Bloomquist with when he got hurt? Ummmmm... Bloomquist wouldn't have been in the game cuz you would have pinch hit for him Mike! :mj07: What an idiot!
