wow, Howard really saved my ass because I thought Cabrera would def hve the advantage vs Wright in the finals, Wright was absolutley dry after the first round and if this were last year it would have been a completley different final...Glaus would have been my biggest payday out of my 3 players that I bet, I would have won 5 units but whoever said he was injured def was on par because he showed no signs of being the usual HR smasher that he is...I had Howard for a unit at +380 and Wright for 0.6 units at +650...i thought the line for Howard was right on, a lefty at PNC def has the advantage and this kid is a monster who hits biggr shots than guys on roids...I knew he would at least be in the top 2, the way he hits the ball, and i really was afraid when he was hitting BP style hits n the first round with 5 outs....then like Morgan said, he started to use his legs and start gettting behind bals and putting tem into orbit....I really had a good feeling about Wright as well, Im so pissed, I was going to put a unit on him having the "Most Home Runs in the First Round" @ +800 with the 20% bonus I was supposed to get from WWTS, but they told me I could no longer get the bonus because I had requested a withdrawl after depositing and making a big withdrawl (that actually never went througb ecause i decided to stick with them after realizing they dont do immeidate neteller withdrawls), and had already layed the rest of my account on Wright/Howard or Glaus to win the derby....my other book didnt offer the "most home runs in the first rond prop" and i wasnt able to transfer the money over in time to neteller, then to wwts because i was told id get the bonus yest, and then they tell me 2 hours before the Derby that I was not eligibe for the bonus so I was screwed out ofa potential 8 units...regardless I cant be greedy and should be happy that I was guarenteed a profit going into the finals as 2 of my 3 bets were the final 2 contestants...Im so glad HOward caught fire in the 2nd as well, I really thought he was gonna tire out and a fatigued Wright wouldnt stand a chance against Cabrerea IMO...I got lucky though, and Howard ended up taking the crown even though he got the least restof all possible finalists before the final round as he batted last, while Wright had 3 guys worth of time to regain his stamina for the finals...Howard really impressed me, he had no rest before the final match except for Wrights turn...Howard is the real deal, he won the crown after fallinig very far behind in the first round, and seeing the finals composed of both my bets really made it a good Derby for me this year...still pissed i wasnt able to get my Wright prop in to hit the most Hr;s in the first round, as that would have made me an extra $400...oh well, a win is a win...gl
