The Village made 51 mil opening weekend, but that movie was hyped up to be somethign special then came out as a dud.

That is why this o/u is set about right... and I can't decide what to pick?

M. Night Shaylaman started with Blaire Witch, which made a load of money, and everyone jumped on the bandwagon with 'the village', which sucked.

I dont think M Night did Blair witch... Sixth Sense which in turn was followed by Unbreakable (both with box office draw Bruce Willis)
He is old and tired Signs also was bad as was the Village

the guys a genius. not since hitchcock has their been close to a director of his calibur.

like pel7 said, this guy has a major following. i'm sure i'll go opening weekend.

and he never did blair witch whoever said that. sixth sense was his first.

and i really liked all his movies, including the village.

every film student in america will be seeing it as well, because of him.

like i said, i wouldn't play it, but don't be surprised if it goes over.

didn't realize it was a Shamalan movie. Don't think I'd touch it.

I liked Sixth Sense a lot, and I also liked Signs. Never saw the Village.
