The Carlos Torano Signature Collection, pulled in an astounding and nearly unprecedented 4.7 from Smoke Magazine. Even with the diverse palates of their panel, this cigar wowed every taster. The highest rated non Cuban cigar in the history of Smoke Magazine. A medium to full bodied smoke with rich flavors of roasted coffee and cocoa. An earthy core with hints of leather and sweet spice. Also an earthy herbal aroma rounded off with sweet wood on the finish. Individually wrapped in a cedar sleeve.

The tradition began in 1916, shortly after Don Santiago Tora?o arrived in Cuba from his native Spain. Decades later, his son Carlos made a key contribution to the industry, by introducing the renowned "Piloto Cubano" seed from Cuba in the Dominican Republic in the 1960's. Today, Don Santiago's grandson and great-grandson continue his family heritage with a handcrafted cigar of unmistakable Tora?o quality. Quality carried through the years for your smoking pleasure. A Tora?o cigar represents four generations of family tradition that include many personal sacrifices. Every Tora?o cigar carries the personal family touch that makes it one of the world's best. Only the highest quality vintage tobaccos and hand workmanship go into a Tora?o cigar to ensure a unique blend of art and craftsmanship. Each leaf is personally selected from a private family reserve and set aside exclusively for the making of these cigars. Blended with the finest filler that is recognized for its exquisite superiority the world over, the Tora?o cigar is then skillfully rolled in the most expensive and sought after tobacco wrapper available. The honor of making a Tora?o cigar is given only to the most skilled cigar makers, those who possess the rare ability needed to create these unique blends. Taking absolutely no shortcuts, each critical step is done completely by hand to ensure a finished cigar without parallel. Tora?o cigars are then aged months in Spanish cedar vaults until they reach the peak of perfection. This creates a marriage of the blends to be counted among the world's best. Even then, only the best of these cigars get to be hand boxed in an exclusive Tora?o package, design to fit the personality of anyone who appreciates quality.

Sincerely, The Tora?o Family

Not sure if I will be able to find a box of these by Saturday out here in the cornfields of Ioway, but I'm going to try as I planned on giving my buddy a box of cigars for his 40th birthday; which is on Saturday. Don't think I'll sober up before Tuesday...

Thanks for the heads up on these...:D
