Took Toronto...Lilly throws a friggin GEM, 4 hits, and CHing Wing Wang or whatever his name iis gives up 10 hits and throws a shnit peformance and yet Toronto is still only up by 1...and now they have a gu whose thrown 4 inning all season to face one of the most potent offesnes of the season...why put in a righty when Phillips is itting .167 against lefties...why not a proven lefty life Schowenweis? I dont get it...I can see another bad beat coming, jus like i got FAWKED lastn ight by Turnbow with a big play on Milw and a gem thrown by Capuano...so annoying, obnoxious and stressful

here we go..2 on..here comes the Yankees rally with the worst part of their offense because the Blue Jays obv dont wanna win thi game...I hate betting baseball, some games they just GIVE AWAY when they know it can be a HUGE victory if they sweep the team whose had their # for years...God

Been following this JAYS team closely the last 3-4 years...
...i totally agree with you on that one...don't know why Gibbons put in Brandon League to face the bottom of the order...he should have brought in one of the more experienced relievers rather then have this kid pitch against the bottom order that was "due" to hit something in the this MUST WIN game...
we'll see what happens with three innings left...this Jays team is different now that shea hillenbrand is gone...don't count them out yet...I honestly thought the JAYS were gonna get smoked in this game cause every stat was against Lilly even pitching a good game today....and he pitched a fawking gem...go figure.

If I had to do it ALL OVER again, I would st ill go with the Jays...they are playing with such amazing chemistry right now...many times you will see free agent signins with high hopes, and the guy never amounts to what was expected of him (Giles herei n SD , for Jason Bay and Oli Perez...to this day I still fume over that trade)...but with the Jays, the trio of Glaus, Overbay and even Burnett (when hes not injured) have all payed off....the best roster upgrades n the ML where on the behalf of the Blue Jays in my opinion...Wells is like a young Griffey, very similar game play, and to compliment him with a solid rbi/line driver hitter like Overbay and a absolute SMASHER like Glaus was such a great idea...then th fact that you have the best pitcher in the ML, and you compliment him with Burnett...and a solid lefty in Lilly on the roster as well...I have a unit on this team to win it +2500, and een though they f'd me today, I still see a bright bright future for them, especially these next couple years...they will win the pennant by 2008, and I wish I could bet that somewhere becaue I would pound that future
