I may be a fool but why are so many people taking the Cards tonight. I know the Dodgers are 1-9 since the break but man this guy showers with lighter fluid. I guess we will see what happens soon....

We're in the same boat. I have been fading crappy pitchers all year and it almost always comes back to bite me in the ass. That's why I've been saying using logic doesn't seem to be working this year on the bases. Jeff Suppan just threw a frigging shutout the other night for Chrissakes. May as well throw darts at a dartboard. :142smilie

Yeah I think we are approching the dog days of summer, becareful with favs for a while...if you plan on still playing.

I think I'm going to bow out not so gracefully with that miracle by TB tonight. I've been losing money this season so no reason to keep playing when there are so many factors that seem to be out of my control.

And I wouldn't feel too bad if the Dodgers lose tonight. Weaver IS a gascan, so your instincts were right on. Hard to cap a guy like that throwing a gem at any time.
