Two game progression. HMMMMM.

Does that mean if they lose today you double up next game?

Could someone shed some light on this?

It doesn't mean to double up....I don't think Fltcher would ever have a system like that. All these teams won yesterday and by the term "progression" he means they will win again today. So they will be putting together a string or chain of wins. Hope this helps!

Then it isn"t a progression bet. It's taking those teams for the next two games in the series.

Does it matter if they win or lose today?

It's no big deal. but I don't get it.

if a team loses today you take them again today to make 6 units. You have to figure how much you lost on the first game and calculate what another 6 units will cost. And that depends on the line.If your unit is $10 and the line on your team yesterday was
-150 you would have had to bet $60 to make $40.If the line today is -150 you have to bet $90 to make up for the $60 you lost yesterday and add in another $90 to make the 6 units today.total is $180 to win $120 today minus $60 loss yesterday is $60 profit for the progression.
A win on the first game has no further play;you played to win 4 units.

Thanks Mercury. Just to clarify though Hammer had it exactly also.
I eill assume your unit it 100 for ease of figuring. For example -

Game one - bet to win one unit. If side was -150 you bet 150-100.
If Game one loses - you must recoup your $150 you lost yesterday and still make a profit - let's say 1.5 units

Lets say the team is -200 today (easy to work with)
You bet 300-150 to get your money back
You bet 300-150 for profit, so 600 -300.

You are essentially saying a team will not get swept. This is something he doesn't always do with 2 games - he usually looks for a 4 game series or a 3 game series. You have to have some cajones for a 4 game series if it goes to last day. That is why most that play this cut their bets down significantly per unit. The "average" guy will start at .25 or .50 unit size to start.

I just don't know about any system where you're doubling up. Sure, it seems so easy, but good teams go on losing streaks and they could end up costing you a ton of money. Just my $.02.

that's why you need to pick your spots and look at pitching matchups for the entire series. it works well when you put time into it

DD - You are not necessarily doubling up. Secondly, this is not a system. It is simply handicapped based on pitching rotations. When you lose, you do take a punch. But, for example, I believe all of these progressions did win with exception of Phils vs Braves. That is a no play because it is no longer a two game series.

It actually went 6-0 because the three that lost yesterday won today. These are basically series bets not individual plays. This is a hedge type of play in a sense because you don't have to win the`series to cash, just win one game. This is not a system - not a system - not a system - it is a type of play, like a parlay, that is made based on pitching rotations.

not many people get the hang of this type of play without seeing it work a couple of times - don't feel dumb at all!
