The Diamondbacks look like they are getting back on track (5-1, +$450 last 10 days) and they?ve been a terrific road proposition all year (+$880). The Phillies have lost a fortune here at Citizens Bank Ballpark (-$1240). PREFERRED: Diamondbacks in all games.
San Francisco at Washington (3) 25th, 26th, 27th
The Nationals are only 26-41 (-$1180) vs. righthanders this year, while the Giants have done well against them outside of ATT Park (+$320 with 5.1 runs per game). We?ll play this series accordingly. PREFERRED: Giants when righty meets righty.
Florida at Atlanta (3) 25th, 26th, 27th
The Braves have been a disaster here at Turner Field (-$980 so far) and Florida has turned a nice profit vs. righthanders (+$670 overall). We?ll go with the visitor when they send their better pitchers to the mound. PREFERRED: Willis/Jo. Johnson/Olsen.
Cincinnati at Houston (3) 25th, 26th, 27th
Three night games for the Reds at MinuteMaid Park looks very attractive considering that 13-7 (+$1075) record in night games on the road vs. righthanders. Houston is terrible vs. righties (-$1310), but prices on the Astros will be high, especially if Oswalt and Clemens see action. PREFERRED: Reds when righty meets righty.
Baltimore at Kansas City (3) 25th, 26th, 27th
Mark Redman and Jimmy Gobble will get our nod (O?s 2-15, -$1335 on the road vs. lefties) but only if a righthander is on the mound for the visitor. PREFERRED: Redman & Goggle vs. righthanders.
