Well I finally have closed my page with my book...I really only play football; well unless I get an itch to play a basketball or baseball playoff game...Reasoning is the guy kept moving the line on me from a point to a half point...chit when I had a couple weeks during the football season when I was hitting a lot of games some of the lines had a 2-point difference always in his favor...I mean I could understand if he was taking a lot of action on a particular game but the line movement was pretty consistent with most of my plays...So I recently talked to him and told him that I am retiring from gambling...didn't really want to tell him the real reason why

so now I am going Internet...you guys have any suggestions on the best Internet sites?...I was kind of thinking maybe of setting account up of a bunch of different sites considering some have different ML and ATS...but how would that work?...Would I have to spread my bank roll over several sites?...or is there one recognized account that multiple sites use?...sort of like paypal with e-bay...this is new territory for me guys and suggestions would be helpful...thanks

Thom.........middle, middle, middle. Sounds like a golden opportunity for a bit, Pinny will go -105, making it more attractive yet.

Hey Thom,

How ya been? I just saw this thread for the first time and was going to recommend BetCRIS. It took forever for me to get my first payout because of all the copies of ID, credit card, etc., but since then it has been very good. And I'm not sure about promotions that other books offer, but BetCRIS has a "loyalty program" in which they give you a point for each dollar that you bet. You can later cash those points in for "freeplays." I just cashed in 80,000 points for $900 in freeplays. I'm not a huge bettor, typically around $200 a game, so it took a while to get to 80,000. But having a free $900 to bet with is pretty nice.

Good luck with whatever book you choose and I look forward to seeing your picks during the football season.

Can anyone tell me if they require a copy of ID for every player when one requests a withdrawal? I just can see sending books any info they really don
t need. Otherwise I planned on playing there this year.

Maybe I'll shoot them an email, but I guess I'd like to hear everyone's experiences.

Great list indeed. I currently am with 4 of the 5. One sleeper book I have just because of their friendly staff is Legendz.

Hey LB,

If you were asking specifically about BetCRIS, they make you provide that information only if you use a credit card to fund your account. It's kind of a pain, but you only have to do it once. If you use other methods besides a credit card I don't think you have to provide that info.

Check out the last few paragraphs of this link.

Yes, I was talking about Cris. I live chatted them and the only time they wouuld require a copy of an ID is when a cc deposit is made. Good news, I think I'll join.

Hey Thom,

I usually just keep my money in a jar under my bed with some Uncle Sam repellent. Seriously though, I am by no means a tax accountant or anything like that, but I have always been told that you are supposed to pay capital gains taxes on any winnings (e.g. lottery, poker, sports, etc.) over $1,200 in any given year. However, you can also claim your losses. I did both last year because, in my opinion, it's not worth having it come back to bite you in the ass. I know someone who got busted for not paying taxes and it wasn't pretty...

As for your other question, my book didn't mail me any kind of a statement showing my winnings but when I asked for that info they e-mailed it to me.

Like I said, don't take this as gospel. I'm just telling you what I've been told by others.
