bal strong play
Erik Bedard has been simply dominant ever since he added a
changeup to his repertoire. He has won seven straight starts
and his collective line in those games (49 IP, 26 H, 53 K)
highlights just how good he has been. In fact, he has not
allowed more than two earned runs over the last five starts.
He has been going deep into ballgames, which will shorten
the game and leave less chance for the bullpen to mess things
up. The White Sox have lost their groove for the moment and
were just swept at home by the Twins. Their once great starting
rotation is showing a lot of cracks, including Freddy Garcia, who
has not won a decision since June 28 and is sporting a 5.61
road ERA.
