Today is the last day of July and the last day of the contest for me. I'll be heading out Thursday for two more weeks in the pristine wilderness of Ontario to get my fill of shore lunches and relaxation before school resumes at the end of the month. It appears the novelty of participating in a contest from a different perspective has worn out and run it's course for the season. The number of players and popularity has dwindled as the year winds down. I've really enjoyed everyone's participation in the contest for the last three months. I think it was a fun way to do a competition, forcing yourself to find the underdogs to make you a winner. Many of you were quite successful in your venture. Although my intention (to find a SOLID concensus winner daily) fell short of it's goal I never lost sight of the potential it presented. The friendly competition and negative-free threads were rewarding. Continued success to all of you through the World Series. I plan on doing a contest in the NFL this year. Hope to see all of you over there where we can team up and beat the book. :nutkick
The last day has all the makings for an exciting finale. The championship is still up in the air. Congrats to P3uttt for winning his POL with the D-backs yesterday to keep himself in contention :clap: A new POL can be used today by everyone. GL :mj06:
