Local papers are reporting a potential fractured wrist...could be out for quite a while

i heard that he will be out for a few weeks....

i'm not a doctor but he should be able to play with a cast on his wrist..

Not sure about the specifics of the injury at this point...at work and have not heard anything since this morning...but if it is a break or fracture I wouldnt count on seeing him in the pre-season

stories are all over the place...from wrist fracture to a "sore wrist" ...Pats are keeping this under wraps as ususal..

According to Thursday Boston Herald..it is a Scaphoid break..which is a "peanut" sized bone just below the thumb. These injuries are difficult to diagnose because the bone is so small ...if surgery is needed he will be sidelined for 6 weeks

...the herald says it is a "possible" break...

Little update:

broken wrist confirmed ..Bruschi will not play any pre-season games...any regular season status is up in the air right now
