I witnessed something horrible today and its gonna take me a while to get over this. I was at the beach today and the waves pulled a 3 yr old kid in and the kid drowned. Lifeguards and search and rescue looked for him for a long time but couldn't find him and the grandmother was going crazy and crying and screaming and passed out. It was a very grim scene and i can only imagine what she was going through. i have a 3 yr old kid and if something like that happend to her i don't know what i would do or if i could do anything at all. Well i feel like shit cause the little boy was playing right around my kid on the sand a few mins before all this happened....... all i ask is for u guys to keep this child and his family in your prayers tonight.

that's horrible news, although the water provides many summer time fun activities, it is things like this that show it is dangerous as well. I used to be a life guard, the ocean can easily take life in the bat of a eyelash, it has to be respected, and it sometimes isn't while everyone is enjoying themselves. I'm sorry you had to witness such a event. People with kids at the Beach, you can never be to careful.
